Development of new additives with anti-slip functionality for different applications

In Aditivos Cerámicos S.L., we are a company dedicated to the development and manufacture of additives of various kinds.

For all these reasons, the center for industrial technological development CDTI has matched our request to carry out the ANTISLIP proyect, which aims to develop new additives with anti-slip functionality for different applications, in the ceramic sector, specifically in tiles and shower plates.

It is worth mentioning that in the current market these innovative products do not exist, since the technology used is totally new in the sector and has been developed in such a way that it can be applied directly by spraying or being integrated into inkjet inks in the case of tiles.

In Aditivos Cerámicos S.L., we are confident that the success of the project will be a novelty at the sector level, since current techniques either focuses on the preparation of surface roughness or on the wear of the surface to make it more porous, so it is difficult for these surfaces to control the intensity of the anti-slip property. Also, these surfaces have a limited duration, while the new additives under development will allow selecting the desired anti-slip with an unlimited duration, they are easy to clean and will provide greater realism to the pieces.
